2-Chronicles Summary

The second part of the Book of Chronicles has a very similar tone to the first; only it focuses on the reign of King David’s son, Solomon. But there is more in this section of Chronicles than the history of the reign of King Solomon.

2 Chronicles also narrates the history between the reigns of the kings of Judah to the time of the Babylonian exile, concluding with the call by Cyrus the Great for the exiles to return to their land.
