We all carry our own scars, whether physical or mental. Past hurts stay with us through the years no matter how much we want to forget them. We try to burry them away and pretend they don't exist. Pastor Steven Furtick from Elevation Church talks about this very topic.
He reminds us that Jesus used the scars on His wrists to prove that He was resurrected. Sometimes, the thing we are most ashamed of can be the very things that God uses for good.
What an encouraging reminder that our scars are actually our strengths.
